A slow culmination of ridiculous, beautiful, and ugly. Ugly? Yes ugly.

Also, my hair is a brassy brown-red because of the sunlight here. I look like I have roots [I don’t care about that, but it has never happened before because my hair is so solidly coloured and dark and I haven’t box-dyed it in years] because my hair grows super dark brown and then the (unsurprising) bun on top of my head it red or the (unsurprising) braid is red.
When I get my passport photo checked (everyday) people have to double take and say that it really doesn’t look like me because of the hair colour and I should get it retaken.
Crazy. Just crazy.
